Turns out at least one part of the economy is still going strong. According
to the New York Post, pictures of poopie-pantsed celebrity progeny remain a hot
commodity.
How hot?
Angelina and Shiloh, left, in Manhattan,

The first shots of Angelina Jolie's forthcoming production with Brad Pitt (a double feature, if the rumor mill is to be believed) could be worth between
$8 million and $10 million, say tabloid execs Bonnie Fuller and Barry Levine.
"I can't think at this point who could command more money than Brangelina,"
declares Fuller.
"It's become big business now," explains Levine, who believes some expectant
stars are "treating this like a game."
"It's outrageous," he gripes to the paper. "They've gotten very
sophisticated. The rights are bought up now even before the celeb enters the
hospital. They hire extra security so it's impossible to obtain a photo
illegally."

Levine wishes more stars would follow in the Jimmy Choos of Sarah Jessica Parker, who posed outside the hospital as she
and husband Matthew Broderick headed home with newborn son James in
2002.
"Thanks for caring," the actress told the 100 or so photographers assembled
for the free-for-all photo op. "It must be a slow news week."
But anyone who's been in a grocery store checkout line lately knows there's
no better cure for a slow news week than exclusive snaps of gurgling,
genetically interesting ankle-biters.
"It's at the point now where some stars might decide to have more kids just
to collect the money from their photos," an unnamed magazine editor
pessimistically tells the Post.
Brangelina raised the celebrity baby bar with the birth of Shiloh in 2006,
with photos of their pouty-lipped, Namibian-born spawn going to People for an
estimated $4 million, which the A-list do-gooders donated to charity.
No word on whether Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony plan to give away any of the moolah
they pocketed from People (reportedly in the $4 million to $6 million range) to
show off their twins, Max and Emme.
Either way, the mag's investment appears to have paid off. The issue, with
the blissful couple posing with the tykes at their ridiculously opulent Long
Island estate (complete with butler and a chandelier in the nursery), sold
somewhere in the tony neighborhood of 2 million to 3 million copies,
according to Jossip.com.
Recent People cover stories featuring the rug rats of Nicole Richie, who received a rumored $1 million to debut
daughter Harlow, and Christina Aguilera, said to have pulled down $1.5 million to
pose with son Max, reportedly rang up 1.8 million and 1.3 million in sales,
respectively.
