Are two of the most physically perfect specimens in Hollywood getting to know
each other better? The New York Post recently spotted Jessica Biel, she of the bulging biceps and backside you can
bounce a quarter off of, on a "dinner date" in Los Angeles with
six-pack-ab-sporting Ryan Reynolds. So were the "Blade: Trinity" co-stars just reminiscing about their days
hunting vampires with Wesley Snipes, or is there something more afoot? Biel's rep
didn't respond to our request for comment on the wooing whispers, but this isn't
the first time the starlet, who was briefly linked to Justin Timberlake in January, and the actor, lately kaput
with Alanis Morissette, have been seen together in recent weeks.
TMZ also caught them chowing down on a less-than-health-conscious meal of
burgers and fries following a pre-Oscar fete.
Speaking of Biel, does her ex-boyfriend have his eye on Emmy Rossum? That's the word from E's! Marc Malkin, who says
Chris "Johnny Storm" Evans, otherwise known as the only
appealing part of "The Fantastic Four," was checking out the Kewpie doll-faced
starlet's tonsils last week at Los Angeles hot spot Teddy's. "They were making
out in front of everyone," says an eyewitness. Rossum, 20, whom Us recently
spied "making out like crazy" with formerly floppy haired "Heroes" star Milo Ventimiglia, reportedly hit it off with Evans, 25, when
they met earlier this month. But Emmy's rep denies there was any spit-swapping
going on, maintaining to Malkin, "They are just friends."
Good news for men who like their women apple-cheeked and statuesque (and can
overlook a past dalliance with Wilmer Valderrama): Mandy Moore, 22, seems to be back on the market.
The New York Post reports she's given the heave-ho to Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein,
33, after two months of togetherness, although a source "close to the pair"
assures People the bust-up was "mutual." Moore, who split from Zach Braff last year, and Goldstein, the former fiancé of Nicole Richie, reportedly fell for one another over New
Year's weekend in Miami. Soon, they were seen looking lovey-dovey everywhere
from Los Angeles to the Sundance Film Festival. Mandy's mouthpiece is
tight-lipped on the supposed split, telling the paper, "We don't comment on her
personal life."
Ashlee Simpson is adamantly denying a report that she
recently got up close and personal with Ryan Phillippe. When asked by shutterbugs this
weekend whether rumblings that she'd hooked up with Reese Witherspoon's almost-ex were true, the remodeled
starlet giggled before declaring, "Absolutely not!"
Was Pam Anderson trying to drop a major hint last month when she
reminisced in a Web site posting about her insta-marriage to Tommy Lee as "one of the happiest times of my life," and
bubbled, "Love is forever"? Paparazzi caught the recidivist exes tangling
tongues after a recent lunch date at the Ivy in Santa Monica, Calif., with
sons, Brandon, 10, and Dylan, 9, reports Us Weekly. Pam, 39, who finalized her
divorce from Kid Rock in February, tied the knot with Tommy, 44, in 1995
during a beach-set, bikini-clad ceremony in Cancun following a week-long
courtship (the rocker reportedly introduced himself to the bombshell by licking
her face). They called it quits in 1998 but reconciled briefly a year later
before finally parting ways for good. Back in January, Kid Rock allegedly
attempted to confront Lee at a Las Vegas hotel after hearing rumors that he was
spending time with Anderson, but he ended up banging on the wrong door.
What's a little handholding between well-preserved, well-coiffed former
co-stars? Apparently not much if you're Heather Locklear and Jack Wagner, who have been
joined at the digits while stepping out together in recent weeks. "[They] have
been friends since 'Melrose Place,'" a Wagner insider tells People. "There's
definitely no change in their relationship. They [just] went out with a bunch of
her friends." Still, if Locklear, 45, the soon-to-be-ex of Richie Sambora, decides to pursue something with Wagner, 47,
who divorced last year, her friends wouldn't mind. "He's super funny, charming,
considerate and a little irreverent," a Heather confidante tells the mag. "I
don't think anyone would be sad if [something more] happened."
