Last June, Angelina Jolie admitted to Marie-Claire that she and Brad Pitt weren't "great about Mommy-and-Daddy time." But after several fun-filled days centered on kids Maddox, 6, Pax, 4,
Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 21 months, the sublime megastars managed to squeeze in an
adults-only outing, complete with PDA.
Us Weekly reports Brangelina broke bread Wednesday night in Los Angeles with
Clint Eastwood and his wife, Dina Ruiz (Clint directs Jolie
in the forthcoming period flick, "The Changeling").
The night apparently began with a slight hiccup. Seems that when the
Jolie-Pitts arrived for dinner around 7 p.m., they mistakenly popped into the
wrong Italian restaurant.
"Eventually they figured out they were in the wrong place and walked across
the street to Divino, which is a neighborhood favorite of Clint's," a snitch
tells the mag.
It remains unclear whether the couple's abrupt departure left staffers at the
rejected eatery weeping in their carbonara (we're guessing it did).
As always, the paparazzi were on hand to document the excursion, capturing
the foursome as they chatted for three hours and knocked back red wine, although
the rumored-to-be-knocked-up Jolie "hardly took a sip," notes the spy.
"At one point Angie got up to go to the bathroom, and you could see her
pregnant stomach," relays the eyewitness. "She wore a loose black dress and had
a scarf around her neck, but a bump was visible."
Jolie apparently took only a few bites of her linguini with clams as she and
Brad "listened intently" to Clint and his missus reminiscing about their visit
to the White House.
"The whole group was extremely animated, clapping their hands and laughing
out loud like they were old friends," says the big-eared source. "Brad was
overheard talking about throwing rotten eggs as a kid, and Dina was telling the
Pitts that they should take their kids to the aquarium."
For dessert, the quartet split a chocolate soufflé, with Pitt slipping away
to take care of the $468 tab (he tipped a little over 20 percent).
Then, perhaps in a nod to Clint, Brad and Angelina proved they were indeed
feeling lucky as they made their way out of the restaurant hand-in-hand.
They "looked at each other and kissed inside the doorway," the sharp-eyed
source recounts to the mag. "Angelina was relaxed and pointed out a few pictures
on the wall and asked Brad what he thought as she put her jacket on."
Pitt "was just staring at her," the insider sighs, "and grabbed her and
kissed her again, pulling her in close as everyone in the restaurant looked on."
As they headed for their Range Rover, a protective Brad literally tried to
keep the shutterbugs at arm's length as he guided a serene-looking Angelina to
the passenger seat.

This latest round of public smooching follows the pair's saliva-heavy displays at several recent awards shows. It
remains to be seen whether they'll be joined at the lips as they co-host a
pre-Oscar charity bash on Saturday, which the tabloids are hoping and praying
(to whichever deity is willing to listen) will result in a face-to-face "showdown" with Jennifer Aniston.
Meanwhile, it turns out the prepossessing parents had plenty to celebrate
Wednesday night. Hours earlier, they learned Pax, who was adopted from Vietnam
last year, had become an official member of the family.
TMZ.com reports Brad and Angelina turned up at Los Angeles County
Children's Court on Wednesday afternoon to finalize his adoption in front of a
judge.
The actress' rep says that when Pax's adoption was approved, the jubilant
Jolie-Pitts began celebrating in the courthouse, with the actress walking out
with a teddy bear in hand.
