Somewhere, steam is pouring out of Ron Weasley's ears. On Monday night in
London, Emma Watson, 17, who plays smart and sensible Hermione
Granger in the "Harry Potter" flicks, mixed and mingled at a Vanity Fair
party with Johnny Borrell, 27, the Razorlight front man best known for his romance last year
with the reportedly rehabbing Kirsten Dunst. "She seemed really happy," a source tells the
London Sun of the starlet (this, despite the fact that the rocker was kitted out
in Mr. Rogers' favorite cardigan). "She's a Razorlight fan and was starstruck."
And while People says Watson was shooting Borrell "adoring" looks, it appears
things never got beyond the fangirl stage. "They were hanging out," a pal
downplays to the mag. "Emma has had a boyfriend [rugby player Tom Duckworth] for
years." The two reportedly went their separate ways before the end of the night,
with the musician later spotted whooping it up at the tony Dorchester Hotel.
"She has never met him before," assures the insider. "She has not spoken to him
since and will likely not speak to him again."
Nicole and Joel at the Clive Davis pre-Grammy
party |
"She's a wonderful mother and she looks really hot already." That's Joel Madden, praising the postpartum allure of
girlfriend Nicole Richie, who delivered daughter Harlow a month ago
(via People). The couple took a break from diaper duty over the weekend to hit
several Grammy shindigs, where Nicole happily showed off her slim figure and
overflowing cleavage. "The girl is gifted, man," continues the enamored Madden.
"Women hate her because she looks good being pregnant and then has the baby and
looks sexy. There's something so attractive about her now. It's a motherly
glow."
Such seeming domestic bliss isn't currently in the cards for Joel's twin
brother, Benji, who has ended his engagement to Australian actress Sophie Monk. "Sophie and Benji have officially split,"
Monk's mouthpiece informs Australia's Daily Telegraph. "The decision was mutual
and they remain amicable." The couple, who reportedly hit it off during a Good Charlotte video shoot in 2006, became engaged a little
over a year ago.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Mary Louise Parker at
Los Angeles premiere of "P.S. I Love You" |
Love was apparently sweeter the second time around for Mary-Louise Parker. The New York Daily News reports the "Weeds"
star just got engaged to actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who played lovable but doomed Denny
Duquette on "Grey's
Anatomy" (he's also appeared as her husband on the Showtime series). The
adorable duo briefly split last year, a breather the actor blamed on it being
the "wrong time in both our lives." But he told Parade in January that they soon
realized "we were much better 'on' than 'off.'" "She's the most incredible woman
I've ever known. I couldn't be happier," he swooned, adding that Parker's kids
-- she is mom to 3-year-old William (dad is ex Billy Crudup, who shouldn't hold his breath for a wedding
invite) and baby daughter Caroline, whom she adopted from Africa last fall --
consider him "a walking, live-in jungle gym."
Despite rumors to the contrary, Jamie Lynn Spears is still spending quality time
with knocker-upper Casey Aldridge. The dewy pair was seen locking lips and
walking hand-in-hand as they ran errands in Kentwood, La., last weekend, which
included a stop at an always-glamorous AutoZone outpost. "They're adorable," a
mole spouts to OK!. "They were so affectionate, constantly kissing one another.
Casey is very much a gentleman -- he even opens her car door. He is so attentive
to her every need." The "Zoey
101" starlet, 16, who is rumored to be about five months along, made sure to
keep her swelling belly hidden, alternately styling an oversized sweatshirt and
a maternity-clashing Heineken T-shirt.
For Josh Kelley, becoming Mr. Katherine Heigl has been a transformative experience. "It's
feels unbelievable to be married. I thought that [being married] wasn't that
different [from dating], but actually it is so different," the musician enthuses
to People. "My mentality changed from being a boyish man to a man's man." Part
of that growing up process appears to include having his problem areas pointed
out by his wife of little over a month, who stepped out this week sporting an
unfortunate chin-length mom 'do. "When we first met, I could tell that my ADD
would definitely frustrate her a little bit," admits Kelley. "It's like, I would
be drawing on paper tablecloths when I should have been engaging in conversation
-- little things like that. No one ever told me that before. Nobody ever cared.
But she does. And I like that."
