Maybe it's just us, but lately it seems as if Katie Holmes has turned into Tom Cruise's real-life version of "The Picture of Dorian Gray." While he's suddenly bounding around looking bright-eyed and bushy-tailed while promoting the heck out of his we-really-gotta-kill-Hitler flick "Valkyrie," Suri's mom appears "gaunt, tired and run-down," as the London Daily Mail succinctly puts it. Sure, the photo above could merely be a bad angle snapped at an inopportune moment (still, these blisters on her feet look really painful), but that doesn't explain away this, this, this or this, all of which were shot over the last few days in New York. "The transformation couldn't be more apparent," an eyewitness tells the London Daily Mirror. "She used to be so full of life. You can't help but worry for her." As for the blister on the corner of Katie's mouth, Star chocks it up to stress, which probably won't be helped by her appearance being scrutinized in tabloids the world over. Thankfully, Holmes, who celebrated her 30th birthday on Dec. 18, will soon get some downtime to recharge. Her final performance in the Broadway production of "All My Sons" is Jan. 11, which also happens to be the night of the Golden Globes. Cruise is nominated for his cameo in "Tropic Thunder," but the actress's rep tells FOXNews.com, "Katie's decided to stay and do her last show. She won't be going with Tom to the Globes. The cast of 'All My Sons' has been like a family, and they want to end it together." Besides, the once PR-happy couple has apparently instituted a new policy regarding their promotional appearances. At least that's the claim being made by the New York Daily News, which says Cruise and Holmes, who have been known to make out on the red carpet, have decided not to intrude "on each other's publicity." Pipes in an insider to the paper, "Tom is desperately trying to prove he's still a movie star in his own right."

Now we know what Santa brings those of us who've been more naughty than nice: pictures of Amy Winehouse topless. We cannot urge you strongly enough to avoid looking at these snaps of the epically dysfunctional singer cavorting on the sand and in the surf on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia this weekend following a nearly monthlong hospital stay. The only positive aspect of Winehouse's lack-of-lady-parts coverage: It's clear she's added several desperately needed pounds to her frail frame. And Amy, whose estranged hubby Blake Fielder-Civil is back behind bars, apparently made sure everyone noticed. According to the London Sun, the substance-craving warbler, who appears to have left her trademark tangled beehive back in Britain, put on an impromptu show for "elderly tourists" as she danced around sans bikini top on the balcony of her hotel room. "It was hilarious. Amy's balcony is over a quiet part of the resort that's popular with older guests," relays a spy. "The mood was suddenly shattered by loud music, then Amy Winehouse appeared with her bits hanging out. She was dancing and slurring along to the music, oblivious to everything." Adds the seemingly traumatized eyewitness, "The only thing protecting what was left of her modesty was her bikini bottoms -- and they weren't doing a great job. A lot of guests didn't seem to know whether to laugh or scream at her."

Lindsay Lohan apparently stuck close to Samantha Ronson's side as the DJ made a trip to the hospital Sunday afternoon. TMZ.com reports the starlet was spotted with her inamorata at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles as she sought treatment for a "relatively minor" issue. But Life & Style believes it was a little more serious, claiming Ronson is dealing with "exhaustion and stress," with an insider alleging, "She's been suffering from depression and from lack of food and sleep." But Sam insists she's already feeling back in the pink. "Thanks for all your messages. I'm home and all good," she posted on her MySpace page on Monday. "[I] was just pretty exhausted from traveling and working too much to buy Chanukah gifts and my Jewish mother was worried about me." Adds Ronson, "I had good company and a Jerry's deli delivery of chicken soup and potato pancakes and am feeling much better and am back to watching all my favorite Jerry Bruckheimer shows!" (She revealed she was currently watching the second season of "Without a Trace.") Meanwhile, the New York Daily News predicts that Lindsay and Samantha's globe-spanning squabbles will spell doom for them in the new year. "They fight every day," tattles a pal. "It's just jealousy and childish bickering over the fact that neither feels the other pays enough attention. While they really do love each other, this relationship will be over by March." Another problem area, according to the paper, is that Ronson is supposedly scoring a bigger paycheck for her DJ gigs courtesy of her Lohan connection. "While Sam never contractually agrees that Lindsay will show up to her shows, promoters, owners and publicists all know that if you book Sam, there's a high likelihood Lindsay will also show," explains a source. "Sam's now asking for a lot more money to spin, and she's getting it easily." Ronson's rep, however, vigorously denies she's benefited from her relationship with Lohan, while the starlet's rep tells the paper, "Lindsay cares about Sam very much."
