If Angelina Jolie was looking to quell rumors that she's
gestating another Brad Pitt-sired genetic lottery winner (or possibly
two), strolling down the red carpet in a pup tent so large Boy Scouts could camp
under it probably wasn't the way to go.
Baby burblings that began heating up late last week boiled over Sunday night
as the impossibly prepossessing and matching-chestnut-haired parents of Maddox,
6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 20 months, hit the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Brangelina arrive at the SAG Awards on
Sunday. |
Jolie's copious cleavage, which raised many an eyebrow and dropped plenty of jaws at
the Critics' Choice Awards on Jan. 7, was barely contained in her strapless,
earth-toned bedsheet vintage gown, which was so mammoth even
Pitt couldn't avoid treading on it (granted, his view may have been blocked by
the forest of grey follicles sprouting from his chin).
And much like the Critics' Choice Awards, Brangelina couldn't keep their lips
off one another during the ceremony. They were repeatedly captured on camera
puckering up, interspersing their moony-eyed, sigh-inducing PDA with whispered
sweet-nothings, giggles and adoring glances.
"She is glowing," an eyewitness gushes to Us. "In great spirits and totally
beaming."
But the question isn't just if the maternal and refreshingly robust-looking
megastar is pregnant, it's whether she's producing a Brangelina double feature.
Late last week, three outlets "exclusively" reported she's expecting twins.
X17 kicked off the multiple mumblings, with fellow photo agency Bauer-Griffin
upping the ante by asserting the Oscar winner had recently been spied at Nicole Richie's OB-GYN (alas, no images of this
alleged visit were procured).
Star soon jumped into the fray by declaring the Huggies-surrounded pair only
learned of the ostensible dual delivery news days earlier.
"Brad and Angelina are absolutely ecstatic," an insider told the tab. "But I
think there will be more adoptions to come."
When we contacted Pitt's spokeswoman about the twin-centric reports, she
questioned the sources but remained mum on the possibility of another
pouty-lipped progeny (or two).
Angelina, who was nominated for her role in
"A Mighty Heart," cuddles with Brad during the
ceremony. |
"I'm not commenting on unsubstantiated rumors from tabloid photo agencies or
tabloids," the rep sidestepped to MSN Entertainment.
But even if the Jolie-Pitt brood increases to Brady Bunch proportions in the
near future, there's still room for lots more poopie-pantsed tykes.
Just a week ago, the London Daily Mirror reported the couple was planning an Easter trip to Africa to check out
orphanages, with Angelina's loose-lipped brother, James Haven, saying, "They are
creating one big family and will keep adopting as long as they are able to."
Brangelina have repeatedly talked up their desire for a soccer team-size
clan, with the actress revealing to Jon Stewart in June, "It fluctuates
between seven and 13 or 14 ... I have got a big crazy happy family and I'm used
to chaos ..."
Pitt, who was sporting an adorable -- and likely kid-selected -- necklace
reading "#1 Dad" at the SAG Awards, told Charlie Rose in December, "I think we'll crap out
somewhere between seven and nine."
