Is Kirsten Dunst suddenly awash in mix CDs filled with
heartfelt indie ditties? The adorably snaggle-toothed starlet has supposedly
been spending quality time with three different but oddly similar-looking
music-minded men.
According to Us Weekly, Dunst, 24, has been on a "dating spree" in recent
weeks, with her newest "conquest" coming in the scruffy but fetching form of
Fabrizio Moretti, 26, whose nearly five-year romance with Drew Barrymore just went belly-up.
The starlet and the Strokes drummer were snapped enjoying an al fresco meal at a
Los Angeles eatery on Jan. 22, although lunch may not have been the only thing
on the menu.
"They are friends but she wants it to be more," an insider tells the mag.
Fab isn't the only perma-stubbled looker with whom Kirsten has been spotted.
Paparazzi also purportedly caught her exiting the digs of "Entourage" star-cum-rocker Adrian Grenier (he plays with a band called the Honey
Brothers) on Jan. 21.
These latest sightings come just weeks after Us spied Dunst "deep in
conversation, laughing and flirting" with Adam Brody, 27, at Los Angeles hotspot Hyde.
Just like Moretti and Grenier, the now Rachel Bilson-less "O.C." cutie wears his curly, dark locks artfully mussed,
plays in a band (Big Japan) and has a penchant for timeworn message T-shirts.
But it appears Brody is also keeping his options open. The New York Post saw
him "checking out girls, flirting and taking numbers" while scanning the swag at
the Sundance Film Festival.
So what's behind the seemingly irresistible Dunst's embarrassment of hipster
boy riches?
A "pal" posits that the actress, who last month laughed off talk that she's
been cozying up to Orlando Bloom, is "still reeling" from her 2005 split from
fickle flame Jake Gyllenhaal.
"Kirsten has been lonely," the insider overshares to the magazine.
Perhaps she should consider giving her dreamy-eyed ex a call, because it
turns out he's eager to embrace domestic bliss.
"I'm definitely thinking about [children]," Jake, 26, reveals in the February
issue of GQ (he became an uncle in October when big sis Maggie welcomed daughter Ramona).
Still, just because he's ready to settle down doesn't mean he's about to
settle.
"Look, the most important job for a man is to find the right woman," declares
Gyllenhaal. "It's the best we can do. I thank my father for choosing my mother.
She's wonderful in so many ways. And she chose well, too."
Continues the contemplative star, "I've noticed in life that the mother,
first, has a primary job -- and as a father, your job is to pick a caring,
smart, mindful woman."
And preferably one with a strong stomach.
Jake reveals that in addition to such sensitive guy pursuits as cooking and
checking out the tasty offerings at the farmer's market, he also enjoys a
blood-soaked day of squealing.
" ... [S]ometimes what I actually love to do is go to a farm and get fresh
milk or watch a pig get slaughtered," he ookily explains. "A friend of mine
raised a pig this summer, and they slaughtered it."
As for those endless whispers surrounding his spandex-fueled summer of
two-wheeling with biking champ Lance Armstrong, Gyllenhaal takes it all in
stride.
"That is quite a rumor," he says. "Yeah, people who are
semi-well-known can't seem to hang out without the story being that (a) one is
playing the other in a movie, or (b) they're having an affair."
