Hot on the heels of their makeout session at the Critics' Choice Awards, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie enjoyed some more kid-free
one-on-one time Saturday night.
Angelina and Shiloh last year |
Paparazzi caught the impossibly prepossessing parents of Maddox, 6, Pax, 4,
Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 1, as they left an Italian eatery in Santa Monica,
Calif., after a romantic (and for Angelina's sake, hopefully carb-heavy)
meal.
And while the Jolie-Pitts make a practice of globetrotting in private jets,
when it's just the two of them tooling around town they apparently prefer to
leave a much smaller carbon footprint. The black-clad lovebirds drove off in a
fuel-efficient Toyota Prius.
Brad and Angelina's quality couple time comes amid tabloid talk of another
bun in the oven (In Touch highlights her imperceptible "telltale bump" on its
latest cover) and just ahead of a report that claims they could be adding a new
member to their paparazzi-magnet brood within the next few months.
The London Daily Mirror is convinced the Jolie-Pitts want to adopt another
little girl from Africa (they brought Zahara home from Ethiopia in 2005) and are
planning to check out orphanages over Easter.

"They are creating one big family and will keep adopting as long as they are
able to," Angelina's loose-lipped brother, James Haven, is quoted as telling the
paper. "In many respects Angie saved Zahara's life and there are so many more
children whose lives she could save and she talks about that constantly."
The rewards, he says, work both ways: "Angie and Brad talk about how much
they have been taught by their kids."
But it may be premature to bank on the Easter Bunny bringing them a bundle of
joy along with their Peep-filled baskets, at least according to Pitt's
spokesman.
"I would not believe anything I read in the Daily Mirror," she downplays to
MSN Entertainment.
Still, both Brad and Angelina have repeatedly said they're ready for the
pitter-patter of little feet to turn into a Pamplona-like stampede.
"It fluctuates between seven and 13 or 14," Jolie told Jon Stewart in June, while Pitt posited on Charlie Rose in
December, "I think we'll crap out somewhere between seven and nine."
As for the trouble-in-paradise reports that pop up in the tabs more often
than Tara Reid at ladies' night, an insider insists to the
Mirror, "They would never, ever add to their family if there was the slightest
bit of unease in their household. Things are better than ever."
