It was a weekend of contradictions for Lindsay Lohan.
The rehab-hopping, tabloid-topping starlet was honored at a film festival in
Capri, Italy, as "an icon in the world of entertainment" (no, really) just as
her pole-dancing performance in the widely panned "I Know Who Killed Me" was overwhelmingly voted the worst by an actress in 2007.
And, unlike most stars who achieve "icon" status, LiLo was reportedly
behaving more like coquettish college student on spring break (i.e. acting her
age) during her Italian sojourn than striving to live up to the venerable title
bestowed upon her.
The London tabloids claim Lohan, who recently kicked rehab boyfriend Riley Giles to the curb (he
responded by blabbing about her to a British tabloid), did her best to embrace
the local culture by getting wooed, Italian style, by three very different
suitors during her stay on the island.
"Lindsay certainly likes her men and judging by her efforts over the weekend,
they love her too," a spy opines to the Sun. "She wasn't content to share a snog
with just one fella -- it seemed like she wanted them all. She certainly set
tongues wagging."
The Mail says Lindsay began her beau buffet Friday night with a brief
encounter with a pillow-lipped, bedroom-eyed young waiter named Alessandro, with
whom she traded digits.
The following evening, she allegedly opted for a slice of aged beefcake, with
shutterbugs catching her looking thisclose to grey-templed actor Edoardo
Costa, 40.

Know Who Kissed Me': Lindsay speaks the international language of love
with Bachelor No. 3 (aka Dario Faiella). |
A short time later, according to the paper, the seemingly attention-needing,
id-following starlet was snapped getting physical on a nightclub couch with a
long-haired guy identified as actor Dario Faiella, the son of Italian singer Peppino di Capri.
The saliva-swapping tableau was made all the more romantic by Faiella's
hirsute, belt-overhanging belly and the cancer sticks resting in both their
hands.
The next morning, ever-present paparazzi captured a bed-headed blonde bearing
a striking resemblance to Lohan snuggling up on a hotel balcony with a
flowing-locked and unfortunately shirtless companion who looked kinda like
Faiella.
"She was like a woman on a mission," a snitch snipes to the Daily Mirror of
Lohan's short-attention-span socializing. "I'd be surprised if she had time to
do anything else."
Turns out she did.
Lindsay not only picked up a few items at a local Prada boutique, but she
also attended a kid-packed New Year's Eve party with Hayden Panettiere, whose handlers might want to
rethink their decision to book the up-and-coming actress on the same circuit as
her image-tarnishing peer.
