Pete Doherty's time in rehab apparently isn't just about self-help. The
London Sun claims the substance-susceptible rocker "shocked patients" at The
Priory facility last Sunday by engaging in an al fresco makeout session with
persistent squeeze Kate Moss. "They were kissing and groping each other," a mole
alleges to the tab. "Hands were going up clothing and there was lots of
groaning. They were practically having full-blown ..." Well, you get the idea.
But it seems that as soon as the purportedly marriage-minded pair was spotted by
a nearby therapy group, they beat a hasty retreat.
The Kate Hudson-Owen Wilson sightings continue. On the heels of
reports that the "You, Me and Dupree" co-stars recently spent quality time
together in Hawaii comes word from Us Weekly that they cozied up during a Sept.
15 outing to Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. Kate reportedly arrived with a
trio of girlfriends, with Owen turning up -- and offering her a peck on the
cheek -- a short time later. "She was so happy to see him!" an excited
eyewitness tells the mag. "They gave each other their undivided attention."
After some ear-whispering, knee-to-knee touching and snapshot-sharing (the
actress displayed pics on her digital camera), the group headed to hot spot Les
Deux, where the tousle-tressed twosome openly "flirted," says Us. "They smiled
the entire time," recalls a spy. "They didn't care who saw."
Most 18-year-old boys only fantasize -- a lot -- about the girls in Playboy.
Aaron Carter plans to marry one. In a move that has
"ill-fated first marriage" written all over it, the baby-faced singer has asked
Playmate Kari Ann Peniche, 22, who previously dated his big brother Nick (we know, we know), to be his wife, reports People.
Carter made his misguided proposal Saturday in Las Vegas in that most romantic
of settings, onstage in front of 200 people during a Playboy show at the Palms
Casino. "I'm very excited about it," Peniche gushes to People. "Aaron is the
most genuine person I know. He's kind, loving, and I love him so much." Carter,
who was once the inexplicable center of a Lindsay Lohan-Hilary Duff love triangle, is looking to make things
legal with Peniche in the next six months.
Has Lance Armstrong found time to do some dating in between hanging out and
working out with bestest pals Matthew McConaughey and Jake Gyllenhaal? Us reports the two-wheeling champ,
35, is seeing actress Brittany Daniel, 30. "It's not serious," a snitch tells
the mag. Insists Daniel, "We're just friends."
When it comes to women, Jack Nicholson is an equal
opportunity wooer. "In terms of age, you could say that over the last year, I've
probably covered the territory from 21 to 61," the almost septuagenarian
skirt-chaser admits to Rolling Stone. Still, he says, "I am not obsessed,"
adding that age has taken a toll on his lady-killing ways. "Whether you want it
to or not," sighs Jack, "that part of your life changes." |
