Nicole Kidman knows how to keep busy. This year alone she'll be seen in three movies: the long-delayed thriller "The Visiting," opposite Daniel Craig; the new untitled drama from "The Squid and the Whale's" Noah Baumbach; and, in the first installment of the "His Dark Materials" trilogy, "The Golden Compass." She'll soon begin shooting Baz Luhrmann's new epic "Australia" opposite countryman Hugh Jackman that is expected to keep her busy for at least six months. What's next? According to Variety, it may be an adaptation of the Broadway play "Rabbit Hole" for Fox Searchlight. Written by David Lindsay-Abaire, "Hole" tells the story of a happily married couple whose lives are disrupted by a tragedy and the intense journey they take to regain happiness. Kidman will star in and produce the picture through her Fox-based Blossom Films, where she has two comedies and an untitled thriller from screenwriter Simon Kinberg ("Mr. & Mrs. Smith") in the works. Whatever she chooses, it doesn't appear as though Ms. Kidman will be taking any sort of extended vacation anytime soon.

Anne Hathaway has found a new leading man. Patrick Wilson will join "The Devil Wears Prada" star in her new supernatural thriller "Passengers," according to The Hollywood Reporter. The Columbia picture finds Hathaway playing a grief counselor who helps six plane crash survivors and develops a special (um, romantic) relationship with one of them (Wilson). When the survivors suddenly start to disappear under mysterious circumstances, Hathaway's character suspects a conspiracy and becomes determined to uncover the truth (you go, Nancy Drew!). Production is expected to start early this year.
