Though Arnold Schwarzenegger was always a sketchy cinematic
presence, this 1996 paean to Christmas consumerism and corporate values proved
that the whole "he's so bad it's almost funny" shtick was long past its sell-by
date. The future governor of California
... more(that's how bad an actor he was!) stars
with Sinbad (what more can one say? Sinbad!) as dads who go
through hell to buy their kids an action figure. The comedy is low and cheap,
the premise is insulting, and the payoff is about as convincing as "The Last Action Hero." (20th Century
