Katee Sackhoff: Ace pilot Kara Thrace of "Battlestar Galactica" wasn't lying when she told Apollo, "Me in a dress is a once in a lifetime opportunity."

Thank goodness.

That might have been one of the more ridiculous scenes in an utterly riveting show. A formal dance? Curled... more hair? Thank goodness the writers have given us plenty of dirty, sweaty, and even bloody scenes with Starbuck.

She's an inspiration to all women who'd rather wrestle with aliens and assorted authority figures than with a blow dryer and brow tweezer. To us, that sounds totally out of this world.
