Russell Crowe wants to screen 'Noah' for the Pope

Hollywood actor Russell Crowe has launched a campaign to have his new Biblical epic "Noah" screened for Pope Francis.

The star plays the title role in Darren Aronofsky's new film, which is based on the Bible story of Noah and his ark, and Crowe wants to make sure the leader of the Catholic Church sees the movie. He has launched a campaign on Twitter in a bid to arrange a screening for the pontiff, tweeting his official account and urging fans to re-post his messages. Crowe writes, "Dear Holy Father... Noah film. Screening? The message of the film is powerful, fascinating, resonant... Villagers, given his environmental focus/scholarly knowledge, trying to screen 'Noah' for Pope Francis... You help? retweet previous."

The film hits theaters next month.

So what does Crowe need with the Pope?  Crazy 'ol Russ already has his own religion.

Russell Crowe: ‘Obama is the light and the future,’. He also sees UFOs regularly.

I like Crowe and will see the movie.  It should be pretty good.  One thing though.  There is only one Holy Father and that is God himself.  Perfect Deity hence the word Holy.    The pope is cool but he is still just a man, a sinner as we all are.    He should not let himself be called holy father.   Pope should be enough since that's what he is.
Did you ever notice that those who do not believe in GOD spend the most time talking about him. If you don't have faith that's your choice but don't try to discourage others.

The women talk in this?  Every good Bible scholar knows that women didn't talk in those days! (Adam's rib was where their vocal cords later grew in; and aren't we sorry they did, fellas?)

Maybe this movie will finally explain how:

1.) polar bears, koalas, tree sloths, etc.. made it to SW Asia

2.) how he was able to store and feed millions of species of animals birds and insects

3.) how the Ark was nowhere near big enough to carry them all

4.) how the only humans left on the Earth were Noah and his family but the Earth was quickly repopulated afterward...
