Sandra Bullock has vowed to walk away from Hollywood if her work begins to negatively impact on her young son.
The Oscar-winning actress, who adopted baby Louis in 2010, admits she plans her work schedule around her boy's needs to minimise any disruption to his daily life, but she will not hesitate to quit acting if she feels the three year old is being robbed of his right to a normal childhood.
She tells Vogue magazine, "I think this business can take the child out of kids so quickly. I don't want him to have pressures brought on by what I do. I will quit. I will leave. If I see whatever I'm doing affecting him negatively, I will pack up and move to Alaska."
Bullock reveals recent false speculation suggesting she was dating her married security guard Peter Weireter has also made her question her future in the spotlight because the scandalous gossip angered his wife.
She says, "That's what makes me want to step out of this business. When it hurts amazing people I've gotten to know. This is family, you know what I mean?"
I have lots of respect for her to make that statement. Lots of Hollywood kids didn't get to grow up with their famous parents. Fans were more important. They would have kids then shove them off to nannies. God Bless you Sandra
