'Big Chill' reunion set for Toronto Film Festival

WENN

The cast of cult Lawrence Kasdan movie "The Big Chill" is set for a 30th anniversary reunion at the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada in September.

Glenn Close, Tom Berenger, JoBeth Williams and Kasdan himself have been confirmed for the get together, where they will chat about making the movie, which is ironically about a reunion that takes place following a death.

The movie premiered at the Toronto Film Festival's opening night in 1983, and the reunion will open this year's event.

I loved the 1983 movie; I am sure to love this new "Bill Chill", as well.

Kevin Costner's first film role, although he was cut out of it except for the opening scenes at the mortuary.  He played the dead guy.

Loved Beringer in "Last of the Dogmen" one of my favorite films.  Enjoyed Big Chill and might even attend Toronto Film Festival just to see this reunion.
