James Franco to get roasted

Actor James Franco is set to become the butt of all jokes at the next Comedy Central Roast.

Bing: Franco takes 'Kink' to Sundance

The actor will be mocked by his industry pals during an upcoming TV special, and he took to Twitter on Tuesday to share the news with his followers. In a video clip, Franco delivers the news in an unexcited monotone voice, mumbling, "Hey y'all, what's up? I'm gonna get roasted on Comedy Central. Be sure to check it out. They wanted me to tell you that."

Recent roasts have featured comedienne Roseanne Barr, actor Charlie Sheen and property tycoon and reality TV personality Donald Trump.

These roasts aren't the same without Greg Giraldo.  Roast In Peace Greg.

When they roasted Rosanne, she was quite tasty and she fed a lot of people.

He's got some funny friends (see the cast of "This Is The End"), I bet this will be a good roast.

These Comedy Central roasts are getting sad, As Rich said in his post, the roasts and attendees were for A-listers, They are also for people who have been around for awhile. Franco is to young to be roasted.  Comedy Central just seems to pick anyone and a bunch of B/C list comedians to do the roasts. Thank goodness the Friar's Club still holds to tradition and hasn't fallen to comedy central's standards.
