Daniel Day-Lewis receives honorary degree from Juilliard

Oscar-winning actor Daniel Day-Lewis donned a traditional cap and gown as he was presented with an honorary degree from the famous Juilliard School on Friday.

The "Lincoln" star received the accolade during a ceremony at the famed music and drama institution in New York City and made an inspiring speech to students as he collected the honor.

Laura Linney received one of the school's honorary degrees back in 2009 was also on hand in her cap and gown to address the graduating class of 2013.

so sad that an actor who has done nothing but make big money for not doing a dam thing for anyone but themsevles would be followed by photographers and worshipped by the ignorant masses but a fireman who saves lives for real doesnt get anything,,,,,,,,,,american ignorance and arrogance at its best.
