Reese Witherspoon is reuniting with her "Walk the Line" co-star Joaquin Phoenix for Paul Thomas Anderson's new crime drama.
The pair won critical acclaim for their portrayal of country music legends Johnny Cash and June Carter in the 2005 movie, with Witherspoon picking up an Academy Award for Best Actress. They are now set for a big screen reunion in the upcoming thriller, "Inherent Vice." The film is based on Thomas Pynchon's 2009 novel of the same name, with Phoenix playing a pot-smoking private detective named Doc Sportello working a missing persons case in 1970s Los Angeles.
The star-studded cast also includes Martin Short, Owen Wilson and Benicio Del Toro.
