Gwyneth Paltrow slaps Downey, Jr. at Iron Man 3 press conference
Gwyneth Paltrow playfully slapped her Iron Man 3 co-star Robert Downey, Jr. at a London press conference over the weekend (20-21Apr13) after he jokingly branded her a "snob". The actress was responding to a question about audiences' early responses to the latest installment of the action franchise, admitting that she was "really surprised" by how much everyone, including herself "loved it". Her remarks prompted Downey, Jr., who stars as the titular superhero, to interject and poke fun at a recent Star magazine survey which named and shamed Paltrow as the Most Hated Celebrity in Hollywood, saying, "Shocked? You're such a snob." He chuckled at his own comments and leaned in to kiss and make up with the blonde beauty, only for her to humorously brush off his advances and slap him away. It's not the first time Paltrow has shown up Downey, Jr. while promoting Iron Man 3 - she recently conducted a whole press conference in Paris in fluent French, causing her co-star - who does not speak the language - to express his mock frustration at having been "raised by wolves". The actress has earned a reputation as somewhat of a snob in recent months after coming under fire from critics for sharing impractical lifestyle advice - she offered up spring wardrobe essentials on her blog with outfits totalling more than $450,000 (£293,880), while recipes in her new cookbook, It's All Good, call for pricey ingredients such as duck eggs and costly Manuka honey.

My nephew works in the film business in Hollywood and has heard that Gwyneth Paltrow is a real diva, the kind who doesn't like "underlings" to look at her, that sort of thing. On the other hand, he's had the opportunity to work with Robert Downey, Jr. and says he's sociable and easy to work with. And let's face it, he's the reason most people go to see "Iron Man." He's a unique talent, one whose work I always enjoy watching. Paltrow as Pepper Pots (or whatever her name is) could be replaced as easily as Don Cheadle replaced whoever it was (sorry, I can't remember his name) that played that part in the first movie. Looking forward to Iron Man 3.

I don't care. Why does anybody else?

Can't stand that woman. She has to see her name in the news everyday. Must be very insecure. Not much of an actor and certainly nothing to look at.

She bathes with her 7 & 8 year old sons every night. What's up with that?

With a name like "Gwyneth" how could she possibly be a snob?
