Former child star Melissa Joan Hart has appealed for donations to fund her first "sexy and adult" movie.
The actress, best known for playing "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" on TV, is desperate to shake off her good-girl image by taking on the leading lady role in "Darci's Walk of Shame," and she has started up a Kickstarter.com campaign to generate cash to get the project off the ground.
In a post on the fundraising page, she writes, "I know it seems like a leap of faith but I am asking you to do what Hollywood won't, and that is to take a chance on me as the lead of a romantic comedy film.
"By playing Darci, I will get the chance to once again be in a fun and hilarious rom-com much like Drive Me Crazy... only all grown up and having a roll in the hay with the hot actors in the film! Funny, sexy, screwball, adult, romantic comedy. No magic. No black cat. Enormous fun. Need your help! Spread the word!"
Hart will give away signed memorabilia and other prizes to those who pledge donations to help her reach the $2 million target by May 26.
For the years that Melissa has been on screen, she has sadly had a terrible lazy eye but blessed with an incredible smoking hot body. Though I will not be funding for the movie, I am honest enough to admit that I would watch it once it came to tv. She is also a very good talented actress deserving of more work.
