Actors Tom Hanks, Lena Dunham and Charlize Theron's contributions to the Internet have landed them nominations for the 2013 Webby Awards.
The "Forrest Gump" star is up for Best Online Film & Video: Drama for his Yahoo series "Electric City" and Emmy-winner Dunham is nominated in the Social Content and Marketing category for her hit TV program "Girls," while she'll also go up against Theron in the category for Best Individual Performance in an Online Film & Video.
The stiff competition features Dunham's cheeky voting campaign for President Barack Obama, the "Monster" star's FunnyorDie episode, "Charlize Theron Gets Hacked," and Jerry Seinfeld's show "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee."
Justin Bieber will duke it out in the Interactive Advertising & Media category for the launch of his Girlfriend fragrance, and zombie series "The Walking Dead" is mentioned for Best Writing and Drama for its Web episodes.
Lady Gaga's "Gaga's Workshop" 2011 holiday promotion with store Barneys is a finalist in the social category.
The winners will be announced during a ceremony in New York City on May 21.
