Hollywood appears to have a crush on the Red Sea-parting Biblical hero most famously portrayed on the big screen by Charlton Heston - there are currently two films planned about his life.

Ridley Scott is reportedly eager to cast "Batman" Christian Bale as Moses for his film "Exodus," according to Deadline.com, and Oscar winner Ang Lee has emerged as the front-runner to replace Steven Spielberg as the director of a rival blockbuster, called "Gods & Kings."
