The 2012 drama has been a runaway success this awards season, landing a string of honos for its leads, and now they are coming together again for the moviemaker's latest project. Editors at Deadline report Lawrence has been tapped to star in the director's new film, about the 1970s FBI sting operation Abscam, which brought down several U.S. congressmen.
Christian Bale, Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner are also set to appear in the movie.
