Sofia Vergara is "so glad" Nicole Kidman replaced her in "The Paperboy" because she had reservations about the sexually-charged drama's memorable urination scene.
The "Modern Family" star was originally cast as the leading lady in Lee Daniels' 2012 film, but she had to bow out due to scheduling conflicts, and Kidman was drafted in.
Now the Latina beauty admits she wasn't right for the part of sex-crazed Charlotte, who urinates on Zac Efron's character after he is stung by a jelly fish.
"It was a fun role. I was so glad that I didn't have to pee in anyone's face, though," Vergara told Us Weekly. "I was glad it was not me. For (Kidman), that's nothing. For me, it would have been three weeks of stress. 'How am I going to pee in there?'"
However, the actress insists she would love to tackle a drama in the future, adding, "I have no limitations, and I believe in directors directing, and if they see something -- for example "Paperboy," when I auditioned three times with Lee Daniels the director and he said, 'Yeah, you can do the role.' I was like, 'OK, if you say I can do the role, I'll do it.' If I do auditions and the director thinks I can do it, then I'll do it."
