'Star Wars' spin-offs in the pipeline

WENN

Disney bosses are planning to expand the "Star Wars" franchise by releasing spin-off movies focusing on fans' favorite characters.

Bing: 'Star Wars' sequels planned

George Lucas sold his Lucasfilm company to the media giant last year, and producers are currently working on the seventh installment of the sci-fi series, "Star Wars: Episode VII," which will be released in 2015.

Disney boss Robert Iger says, "We are working on a few stand-alone films, derived from great 'Star Wars' characters that are not part of the overall saga."

J.J. Abrams has been hired to direct the first Disney-produced feature, which will be penned by "The Empire Strikes Back" writer Lawrence Kasdan.

General Grievous has a mutilated body, he is a warrior of his planet and he has his light sabers from killed jedi. that is a gold story to do. If you make a movie about any incognito Character it should be him.
