Mark Wahlberg let slip that Seth MacFarlane's trash-talking teddy bear, Ted, will make an appearance at the Academy Awards ceremony.

MacFarlane directed the 2012 comedy and provided the voice of the foul-mouthed stuffed toy, which comes to life to keep a lonely young boy company.

Wahlberg says Ted will be brought in to entertain the star-studded audience at the 2013 Academy Awards, where the "Family Guy" creator will make his debut as host. The actor tells the Chicago Sun-Times that "nobody's safe" from MacFarlane and his jokes. The show will take place in Los Angeles on Feb. 24.
