The release of the "Carrie" remake starring Chloe Grace Moretz has been pushed back by seven months amid rumors of production delays.
Bing: Jennifer Lawrence says acting is 'stupid'
The new film stars Moretz in the role of the telepathic teenager made famous by Sissy Spacek in the original 1976 adaptation of the Stephen King novel. Carrie was set to hit theaters in March, but horror fans will now have to wait another seven months to see the film, which has been rescheduled for a Halloween release in October.
No reason was given for the date change, but rumors suggest movie producers want more time to work on the film's special effects.
