Jack White pulls out of Johnny Depp's 'Lone Ranger'

WENN

Rocker Jack White has dropped out of plans to score Johnny Depp's new movie "The Lone Ranger."

The former White Stripes star had signed on to compose the music for director Gore Verbinski's film, but he has been replaced by Oscar winner Hans Zimmer.

Announcing the news in a statement on Friday, Disney producers said, "Jack White, who had originally been contemplated to score and has contributed several pieces of music to the production, was logistically unavailable due to scheduling conflicts that arose when the film's release moved to July of 2013."

Zimmer has previously worked with Verbinski on the "Pirates of the Caribbean" films.

Oh I'm sure there were no "artistic conflicts" with the ever affable Mr White.

As if...Hollywood has ever told the truth about anything when "conflicts" arose on a film, instead going with the ever-reliable and oft-untruthful version of "artistic conflicts."  LOL.  Jack White is probably better off, and will probably get another opportunity to score a film whenever he chooses.

Or maybe because of the release schedule he just couldn't do it anymore. Does there always have to be a conspiracy?

Jack White looks like he lost a recent "Johnny Depp look alike contest"
