Mike Tyson to take his 1-man show nationwide

NEW YORK (AP) — Lock up your ears — Mike Tyson's coming to a theater near you.

The former champion boxer and convicted rapist will take his one-man show "Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth" on a three-month tour to more than a dozen cities, including Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Detroit and Washington, D.C.

The two-hour show, directed by Spike Lee and written by Tyson's wife, Kiki, debuted in Las Vegas and had a limited run on Broadway this summer. The tour starts in Indianapolis in February.

The show traces Iron Mike's rise from violent street hood in Brooklyn to a fearsome athlete. Then comes the fall — prison inmate, tabloid target, cocaine and Evander Holyfield's delicious ear. There are stories about first wife Robin Givens, promoter Don King and Brad Pitt.

will attend. In US everyone deserves a second chance. He made us proud when he was at top. Right now boxing isn't so much fun as the giants aren't there anymore

Rondo, should be banned from basketball forever along with three other players on the floor that night, for fighting.   These ghetto bullies and their owners should all be fired.  Basketball is the new WWW but with real fighting, not pro- actors faking to be wrestlers. Basketball is and will go the way of the boxing game, with people like promoter Don King and Mike Tyson that ended the boxing seen for ever. Pro sports these days are all fixed and driven by greed and power, a lot like the president's run for that office. Where are the real reporters, that will go under cover with pro sports and depose these rich and powerful  people that break every law  on the books and just get richer and richer with every ticket they sell. It's the same with Wall Street and Washington and your state and federal government, No ONE Has The Balls To Depose These Bottom Feeding Pigs That Screw All Of Us Every Day!  If a billionaire reads this, do something for the country and go after these pigs.  Who will bring this up front to the American people?   Fight For Freedom!

Get this sick looser back to the hospital to the padded room with his name on it.  What a freak.  Should be locked up and kept away from other people. He never had any boxing skills either, just a very fast & hard punch that could take out anyone in the ring or out of the ring.  Buster Douglas gave him a boxing lesson when Buster Douglas kicked his **** all over the ring.  At the end of the day it's, " Mike Who".

Hmmm. I  guess I'm first to comment. Perhaps I'm first with a ticket. Except, I don't have one. Second thought, has anyone ever shown up for his shows? Has he?

His show on Broadway received amazing reviews. Hubby and I were in NYC at the time of the run and was considering that as one of the shows we planned to attend. We ended up seeing another show. But he was well received and we did see him, one evening, coming out of the theatre after one of the performances. But..he got right into the car and didn't sign any autographs for the throngs outside the stage door. Not all performers do.
