Actor Michael Wright was arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning after crashing his car into a New York police cruiser, according to reports.

Wright, who starred in "V" and "Oz," was reportedly trying to park his Rolls Royce in Manhattan when he hit a patrol car with two cops sitting inside.

According to TMZ.com, Wright was asked to take a field sobriety test after cops detected the smell of alcohol. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, and taken into custody. Editors at the website claim that both officers were checked over for injuries in a nearby hospital after the incident.
