Jennifer Garner thrilled to play mean on screen

Jennifer Garner was happy to play a "heinous
person" in new movie "Butter" because she's sick of portraying the girl next
door.
The actress, who is married to actor/director Ben Affleck, plays an ambitious
Iowa butter sculptor in the comedy and she relished the opportunity to show off
her "inner b**ch".

She says, "I
play a lot of girl-next-doorish kinds of characters. I am a girl next door in
real life and I am sick of myself! I am so over it. I don't want to see another
simpering smile; I'm done!
"So this, to me, was heaven on earth. She [character] is not to be emulated
in any way and she is a heinous person but, as far as relating to the ambition
and the competitiveness, I think it stretches it for me."
