Brad Pitt hopes to one day work on a Bollywood film because he is impressed with the "drama and color" of Indian movies.
Pitt says he takes an interest in the Indian entertainment industry and would be open to signing on for a Bollywood project.
He tells Indian news agency IANS, "Indian cinema seems to be growing very well at its own pace. I would love to work in a Bollywood film as there is so much drama and color in the films there. The filmmaking, I hear, has evolved a lot in India, and of late we have witnessed some good films making a presence at the Oscars and the world stage. That tells you a lot about the quality of the actors and the films."
Pitt also regrets missing out on the chance to work with Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan after she turned down a role in his 2007 epic "Troy."
He adds, "Given a chance, I would like to work with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan because she's a versatile actor. She is one of the most popular actresses of Bollywood who has achieved huge acclaim in the West for her style, beauty and acting skills. I think we missed an opportunity to be cast together for 'Troy'."
Lots of mean words here from lots of you folks.
I can't help but wonder if you Nasties are fat and ugly lazy, untalented bafoons slashing out with jealous claws.
After all....this man has been a worthy philanthropist who has done a great deal to help humanity in several corners of the world. Not just with check writing but with the rolling up of sleeves and a sweaty brow. He seems to love his family and show respect to others as well as being a talented man who is facially symmetrical. He has never been drunk in public or arrested for crashing a car or possessing drugs.
The venom you spew has NO merit. If you don't care for him as an actor....ok...but to trash talk him makes you ALL less in the possible eyes of a possible God that MAY be watching and knows who you are.
Will be a great venture both for Brad ( his audience reach will multiply by working in a Bollywood movie) and for the Bollywood ( the movie will be a box office hit for the sake of Brad's name and the team.)
Looking forward to it!
