A studio chief behind the "Twilight" franchise has assured fans that plans to release the final installment are still on track following Kristen Stewart's headline-grabbing cheating confession.
Bing: Did Jodie Foster reach out to Kristen Stewart?
Nancy Kirkpatrick of Summit Entertainment says the movie release is going ahead as planned.
She tells EW.com, "While it is studio policy not to comment on the personal lives of actors, Summit is moving full steam ahead and looking forward to this November's opening of 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2.' We are confident that the film delivers amazing entertainment for our passionate fans and general audience alike."

Stewart shocked her devoted fans when she issued a public statement apologizing to her boyfriend, "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson, after she was photographed kissing married director Rupert Sanders. Fans of the vampire franchise had feared that a potential fallout between the two lead actors could affect the release and promotion of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2."
Really sad that some Twilight fans are so flat out dumb that they think the studio would just not release a movie and forgoe the millions of dollars that will accompany it, because Stewart made out with someone she wasn't with. Hasn't this kind of thing happened in Hollywood a thousand times in the past?
Not to mention the whole "These two people's lives are falling apart. Gosh, I hope i still get to see my movie!" Real compassionate people right there...
