Is it over? Has the juggernaut that is "The Twilight Saga" finally met its match? With one final movie to go in the series, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2" (that's a mouthful), may have slipped in popularity. Not far, of course, but the new hotness in town in the tween market is "The Hunger Games."
In a poll by Next Movie, "The Hunger Games," starring Oscar nominee Jennifer Lawrence and based on the wildly popular novel by Suzanne Collins, garnered 51 percent of the votes for the movie fans are most looking forward to in 2012. "Breaking Dawn -- Part 2" took 45 percent.
Even more surprising? "Twilight" stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson lost out as best on-screen couple to Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, who played Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2."
"Deathly Hallows: Part 2," won the title for best 2011 movie, with 52 percent of votes, ahead of "Breaking Dawn -- Part 1," which received 48 percent. What do you think? Are you dying to see the vampire baby? Do you desire teens fighting to the death? Or are both of these titles off your radar?
Well, it is good that we don't all like the same shows or the movie industry, would go broke, don't you think??
I like that "Twilight Series", I read all the books, and I for one think that they did a great job with the acting and picking the actors. But then that is my opinion..........
I have read all the "Hungary games" books, also, and I am here to tell you that the, they are going to have a hard time with putting this movie together...I feel like the books were deep..
So, you have your free agency to go to what movie you feel like, will make you happy, sad,
think about, or just for the heck of it...
Movies, make people enjoy their lives more....Gets their mind off their problems.....
Why are people complaining about The Hunger Games casting? They are "nobodies"? Really??
Donald Sutherland. Stanley Tucci. Woody Harrelson. Elizabeth Banks. And an Oscar nominee in Jennifer Laurence.
They have put together MUCH better acting talent than the Twilight series ever did.
None of you knew who Robert Pattison, Kristin Stewart, or Taylor Lautner was before Twilight. So don't be judgmental at this point. Wait and see before criticizing the cast that people more knowledgeable than you have compiled for this series.
