For those of you not in the know, "The Lion King," Disney's biggest cartoon triumph of the 1990s, sees its theatrical re-release Sept. 16 following a recent 3-D conversion.
Taking the classic film into the third dimension might not seem like the most necessary move, so to plant a seed of interest in moviegoers, Disney is clearly trying to capitalize on nostalgia.
VH1's Best Week Ever blog points to the animated feature's "blooper reel," four minutes of cartoon method roaring, mispronounced Swahili and lots and lots of laughter.
Thanks to new voice work from the original cast -- and a gag involving the possible fatality of the cartoon that played baby Simba -- it's one of the best things you'll watch this week.
