Katie Holmes is joining the bridal party in her new role that has her in a love triangle with "True Blood" star Anna Paquin and Hollywood hottie Josh Duhamel.
The actress is set to play Laura in the film 'The Romantics' that follows eight friends from college who reconnect at a wedding, Variety reports. Paquin plays the bride and Holmes plays her best friend and maid of honor who also has a romantic past with the groom (Duhamel).
Other recognizable actors to star in the film include Malin Akerman, Elijah Wood, Adam Brody and Jeremy Strong. The movie will begin shooting this week in New York and, according to the trade publication, Holmes will have her first producing credit on the film.
