Lindsay Lohan is spending a lot of time of late with the boys in blue. Three days after she called the cops over a brouhaha involving her cell phone, TMZ reports police were called to her Hollywood Hills home early Sunday morning after an apparent burglary.
"The safe was ripped out of the wall, and the door was off the hinges and door handles removed," Lindsay's mother, Dina Lohan, tells People magazine. "Bags, shoes and jewelry were taken too. Thank God she wasn't home."
LiLo returned home around 3 a.m. from a birthday bash in Malibu to discover the robbery.
"She is okay, but upset," says Dina, who points out that the starlet was planning to move to "a safer place" even before the incident.
Lindsay's father, Michael Lohan, tells TMZ he thinks it was "an inside job" because the alarm wasn't turned on.
"I am not going to put up with individuals violating my family," he fumes. "Lindsay is a charitable, generous person that always gives. This is a personal violation and it has got to stop."
Three men were reportedly caught on surveillance video breaking into the house, which was also the scene of a camera-captured attempted burglary in May.
The L.A.P.D. tells People it is investigating and no arrests have been made.
