So what's the hottest buzz circulating in Hollyweird? We all know that Jennifer Lopez goes through relationships like prunes through an old man. But recently she decided to have a little dish session with Vibe magazine to talk about some of her past loves -- and Puff the Magic Daddy ended up getting the worst grades.
It's only been two years since their break-up, but to hear J.Lo talk about her rocky affair with Sean ''P. Diddy'' Combs, you'd think she was 10 when it happened. In addition to claiming she was a vulnerable mess when she hooked up with the P. man, she also admits she went a bit off the charts mentally to boot. ''It was the first time I was with someone who wasn't faithful," she told the 'zine. "I was in this relationship with Puff where I was totally crying, crazy and going nuts, it really took my whole life in a tailspin.''
But when asked about the rumored reports that she would hunt him down like a special ops soldier and pound on hotel doors looking for him, J.Lo had a bit of selective memory. ''I can't remember right now, but I won't say it didn't happen. I never caught him but I just knew. He'd say he was going to a club for a couple of hours and then never come back that night ... I had to think, do I want to be home with kids in 10 years wondering where somebody is at three in the morning?'' Can't you just see her wearing a jelly-stained bathrobe with a head full of curlers under a shower cap? The poor dear.
The final act on their oh-so-public relationship ended shortly after P. Diddy proposed to the singer. Most fans believe she turned him down and the couple split in 2000 due to this crazed-up serial infidelity. But there are those (and you know who you are) who claim that their sudden split had little to do with true love and more to do with that nasty shooting business at a nightclub that not only made major headlines, but made J.Lo look bad.
Lisa Marie Also Dishes
In addition to claiming that Michael Jackson never really gave her what she wanted in bed (hmm, what a shocker), Lisa Marie Presley goes to great lengths to shock and amaze in next month's Playboy magazine.
According to Annanova.com, in a preview of her interview, she actually reveals quite a few doozies. Some of the juicy nuggets include that she likes sex "the way they do it in porn movies" and that when Nicolas Cage threw her diamond ring in the water, he replaced it two days later with a bigger one. She also claims that Michael Jackson may not be "sexually seductive, but there is something riveting about him." Whatever. I find air hockey riveting, but I wouldn't marry one.
But the ultimate doozie has to be that despite all the rumors that have circulated for years that she was gay, Presley finally admits: "I think I'd be much better as a lesbian."
OK, confession time ... while I never went to a comic convention and I don't consider myself to be a total geek, there are a few superheroes that I'm a major freak over. Back in prehistoric days when TVs didn't have remote controls, the Bionic Woman (played by Lindsay Wagner) was a cool female crime fighter, but my favorite had to be Wonder Woman, played by the mah-velous Lynda Carter.
What recently threw me for a loop was finding out how many actresses are vying to play the lead when they take Wonder Woman to the big screen. Of course, the above-mentioned Jennifer Lopez is a possible contender for filling her red thigh-high boots, as is America's sweetheart Sandra Bullock. But Sarah Michelle Gellar? Yep, the U.K.'s Daily Record reports that the one-time vampire slayer is trying to squeeze into those skimpy hotpants. Apparently, with the long-running "Buffy" TV series now finished, 26-year-old Sarah is anxious to establish herself as a bona fide big-screen action star.
One woman who is definitely not in the running is singer Jessica Simpson. But she is managing to keep tight-lipped about playing the lead in the next big movie based on a popular Marvel Comics series. "I don't know if your everyday person would know it," she recently told reporters, "but I can tell you this -- it's not Wonder Woman."
Creeps Out Manson?
Ever wonder what would be considered strange to Marilyn Manson? Well, according to the goth star himself, there's a long list of oddities that make his list.
"I was arrested in Rome," he told Rolling Stone magazine. "Not for wearing a pope's outfit, which I think was the reason they wanted to arrest me, but it wasn't illegal. But someone came with a complaint from a concert that happened two years prior, saying that I pulled off my genitals and threw them to the audience. Very strange." When asked if the "Manson Mansion" was still intact, he replied, "At the show, I did not throw my genitals. I still have them."
Another freaky part of being in the public eye is all the threats to his safety. The singer claims that he has constant death threats. But perhaps the biggest sword in his side are those pesky right-wingers. Manson reminds his fans, "For anybody who thinks I don't have problems anymore with conservative American protests, we've been banned from playing Buffalo."
