"Lawless" joins the ranks of films based on real stories of American
crime

"Lawless,"
directed by John Hillcoat and starring Shia LaBoeuf, Tom Hardy and Jessica Chastain, is based on the
true story of the Bondurant Brothers, bootlegging siblings in Prohibition-era
Virginia. When some corrupt local authorities want in on the family business,
the loyalty of the brothers is severely tested. As moviegoers follow the
adventures of this infamous clan, let's take a look at other real-life criminals
