Halle Berry is yet another Hollywood
star who seems to be aging in reverse. It's easy to forget she's 46 years old,
especially in outfits like the striped metallic Versace gown she wore to the
Oscars last month. Taking the stage at the Dolby Theatre more than a decade
after winning Best Actress for "Monster's Ball," Berry was undeniably stunning. It was
almost enough to make us forget the incredible Elie Saab net dress she wore in
2002. Almost.
Since her rise to fame in the late '90s, Halle Berry has held the unofficial
title of the most popular black actress in America. That no one else has claimed
this title in the past 15 years says more about the machinations of
Hollywood than the dearth of candidates in the talent pool.
