With the release of 'Rise of the Guardians,' here's a look at other movies
with familiar characters

The new animated movie "Rise of the Guardians" tells a
stirring tale of heroism, featuring some familiar characters. To wit, these
aren't superheroes, but figures from childhood mythology who come together to
protect the world's children from Pitch, the Nightmare King (voiced by
Jude Law). And they are: the Tooth
Fairy, the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus and young Jack Frost. No, really. We think
maybe your kids might ask you about other movies featuring these characters
after they see "Guardians." As you'll see in this gallery, there's good news,
there's bad news and there's weird news.
