A Time to Kill and Lincoln Lawyer were his absolute best in my opinion.  Wish he had more rolls like those.  I ♥ Matthew

A TIME TO KILL WAS INCREDIBLE. A TRUE MASTERPIECE. THE WRITERS AND THE ACTORS AS WELL AS THE DIRECTORS,THE LOCATION,AND THE CREW DID A PHENOMINAL  JOB. THIS WAS SO CLOSE TO ALL OF OUR PAST. IT ALSO REMINDS US OF HOW DANGEROUS FORGETTING OUR PAST CAN REALLY BE.

Gina, I agree,  "A Time To Kill " hearkened me back to the days of " To Kill A Mockingbird ", and therefore was he is best role to date. I am a UT graduate myself as is Matthew, but I feel that he does his best work when surrounded by good acting and better writing.

The guy has had steady work and done some very good films to date.  But his turn at the indies over the last few years combined with his mastery of his craft have now put him in the ranks of the elite actors of our day.  He's earned his place as a top dog in the profession.  Here's wishing Matthew many more years of success.

Dazed and Confused launched his career but I do agree that Lincoln Lawyer was damn good
