Director, Producer, Screenwriter, Animator Born: 1886 in New York City, NY Death: 1934 Biography:"Winsor McCay" was one of the first American animators and may have made the first feature-length animated feature, "Sinking of the Lusitania" (1918). Other famed films from McCay include "Gertie the Dinosaur" (1909) and "Little Nemo" (1911).
