Director, Screenwriter, Actor Biography:Russian filmmaker "Vladimir Petrov" started out directing Soviet theater productions after studying drama in London. In 1925, he began working as an assistant in film and four years later became a full-fledged director. His most famous films are Peter the First and The Battle of Stalingrad.
