![]() Avg.User Rating: Rate this person: Director, Actor Biography:British actor "Tom Clegg" was a longtime conveyer of brusque, brutish characterizations. Clegg's serious side was seen in such major productions as "Moby Dick" (1956) and "This Sporting Life" (1963). In a lighter vein, he was a semi-regular in the zany Carry On films of the 1960s. After 1970, "Tom Clegg" confined his activities to directing films and TV shows; arguably his best effort along these lines was the "Roger Daltrey" starrer "McVicar" (1980), which he also scripted. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
