Actor Biography:A prime example of one who achieved celebrity because of celebrity, Tila Tequila (born Tila Nguyen) is perhaps best known for racking up a far higher number of "friends" on the Internet social community MySpace than anyone else in that site's history -- over two million, according to some sources. Tequila achieved this bit of recognition after mounting a successful career as a Los Angeles-area fashion model. Her fame yielded innumerable seductive magazine spreads and covers, MTV spots, and a record deal -- in which Tequila recorded ravenously angry rap songs with hardcore lyrics. Tequila took one of her premier film bows in 2007, with a bit part as a Hooters girl in the Adam Sandler comedy I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. ~ Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide
