Actor Biography:Actress Salli Richardson-Whitfield began her screen career by essaying supporting roles in big-screen features. She was often cast in thriller or action-oriented opuses as a heroine with some degree of romantic involvement, such as the 2004 Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid (as a jungle explorer who finds herself at the mercy of massive carnivorous snakes), and the 2007 Omega Man remake I Am Legend, as the lover of last man on Earth Will Smith (a part she inherited from Rosalind Cash, who played Charlton Heston's lover in Omega).
