Biography:Italian film editor "Ruggero Mastroianni" worked closely with some of his country's finest directors, including "Federico Fellini", "Francesco Rosi", "Lina Wertmuller", "Luchino Visconti", and his older brother, "Marcello Mastroianni". He edited his first feature, "Enzo Provenzale"'s "Vento del Sud", in 1959. Mastroianni occasionally worked as an actor, primarily for director "Luigi Magni" in such films as "Scipione Detto Ance l'Africano" (1970), where he performed opposite his brother, "Marcello Mastroianni", "Vittorio Gassman", and "Silvana Mangano". Mastroianni has edited almost every Fellini film since "Juliet of the Spirits" (1965). Other Fellini films cut by Mastroianni include "City of Women", "Amarcord", and Satyricon.
