Biography:Film editor "Richard Meyer" edited many feature films during his long career. A native of Frankfurt, Germany, "Meyer" began his career in Paris. He next came to the U.S. Following studies at Stanford University, "Meyer" became an apprentice of distinguished outdoor photographer Ansel Adams. During WWII, "Meyer" worked with a military camera crew under "George Stevens". After the war, he edited documentaries for "Louis de Rochemont" and in '55 began editing feature films.
